ABOUT KORO ROASTERS

Koro Roasters are your friendly guides to Indonesian specialty coffee—on a mission to make Indo beans more accessible, approachable, and genuinely delightful. Their goal is simple: bust outdated myths about Indonesian coffee and help more people discover how expressive these origins can be, one cup at a time.

What “Koro” means

“Koro” is short for “Kopi Roasting”, but it also nods to the Indonesian “Ko” prefix in words like cooperation, collaboration, and coordination—three things they value deeply. Koro’s approach is about working closely across the chain: farmers, processors, roasters, and the people brewing at home.

What to expect in the cup

From everyday comfort brews to rarer, more experimental lots, Koro curates coffees that highlight Indonesia’s diversity—freshly roasted and designed to be easy to enjoy, even if you’re still learning.

I have ordered these Flores Bajawa Wet-Hulled beans three times. If you want to experience a coffee that makes you say, “Wow, how can a coffee have tasting notes like this?” then go ahead and order it. Each note is clearly distinguishable, and the flavor is well-balanced. Overall, it is truly excellent.
