Max Havelaar Coffee is an online store for Indonesian specialty coffee. We curate coffees from trusted Indonesian roasters and producers, share clear tasting and origin details, and ship from Indonesia to customers locally and internationally.

We focus on Indonesian coffees that are distinctive, well-roasted, and clearly described. Each product page highlights the brew style it suits best, plus origin, process, and flavour notes where available.

We are a curator and retailer. The coffees are roasted by our partner roasters and producers, and we handle selection, the online experience, packing standards, and customer support.

* For espresso and milk drinks, choose coffees marked best for espresso or with chocolate and caramel notes
* For black filter coffee, choose coffees marked best for filter or with fruity and floral notes

If you tell us your brewer and taste preference, we will recommend a bag.

Sizes vary by coffee, but most are available in 200g, 250g, or 500g. The available options are shown on each product page.

We only sell whole beans. Whole bean is recommended for best freshness.

Yes. We ship internationally from Indonesia. Shipping availability and rates are shown at checkout based on your address.

Delivery time depends on destination and customs. Indonesia orders usually arrive in a few business days. International orders often take 5 to 14 business days, but customs can add delays.

Because international returns are costly, we focus on making it right without requiring returns in most cases. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
